Study on the subject of “urban mobility labs” published

08 July 2016

The Austrian initiative „Urban Mobility Labs“ (UML), driven by the Austrian Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology supports the setup of innovative and experimental environments for research, testing and implementation of solutions and measures in the field of transport and mobility.

The exploration phase, which started in 2014, including eight feasibility projects, was scientifically accompanied by a backing study, with the aim to lead the different experiences from the exploration-phase-projects in a structured pool of knowledge for the initiative.

The so called „MobLab-Study“  has been worked out by the Vienna University of Technology (Department of Spatial Planning: Traffic System Planning) and the evolaris next level GmbH.
