Presentation in the European Parliament

By invitation of Alojz Peterle, Slovenian MEP, evolaris Managing Director Christian Kittl presented perspectives of the ALADIN (ALpe Adria Danube universities INitiative) consortium regarding the EU Strategy for the Danube region in a meeting with high-ranking representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament in Brussels on June 1st.

The central concern of his speech was ensuring support for the further enlargement of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL, http://www.openlivinglabs.eu) in the Danube Region as especially in the Eastern countries this instrument for implementing a modern Open Innovation paradigm has hardly taken root so far.
evolaris has been one of four Austrian members of ENoLL since 2008 and actively supports cross-border cooperation of Living Labs.
