evolaris analyzes user needs for community portal

The new "moxbase" community portal for technology students was recently launched for AVL List GmbH.

In the planning phase of the project, evolaris carried out a benchmark analysis and focus groups with students in a variety of technology areas in order to determine target group-specific requirements and needs for the site. Some of the main requirements of these future users included a high-end platform for exchanging information, up-to-date content, a simple site structure and an efficient search function for relevant information. Unlike entertainment sites such as Studivz, these potential users primarily wanted the site to focus on technical subjects. Communication between students as well as experts in research and science fields were essential to the respondents.
