ServTec Austria – Chances and potentials of Industry 4.0

24 February 2014

On 20 March 2014 the expert’s forum for innovative services and technologies “ServTec Austria”, organised by evolaris in cooperation with Campus 02, will take place for the fourth time.

In the course of a full-day event three focal areas will be addressed and interconnected.

During the morning sessions focus will be laid on chances and potentials of information- and communication technologies within future production processes.
The afternoon will be dedicated to the question of how development processes for the sustainable implementation of innovative service- and business models can be embedded into the company’s procedures.

Both core issues are closely linked to the third focal point namely “Connected Life”. With these three topics the event combines major areas with current relevance within the private business and industry sector: Industry 4.0, Service Engineering, and the future of the Internet. These topics will be presented to the audience in the form of lectures, workshops and various show cases.

Besides highly renowned speakers such as Jerker Delsing (Technical University Lulea), Mathias Putz (Frauenhofer-Institute IWU), Felix Hofmann (BMI Lab AG) and Jens Poggenburg (AVL List GmbH), the federal governor Dr. Christian Buchmann will shape the content with an introductory lecture regarding the significance of Industry 4.0 for the Styrian economy.
