evolaris Living Lab breaks the mark of 1.000 active users

02 March 2016

By the end of the year 2015, the open innovation platform “Living Lab”, which is run by evolaris, exceeded the mark of 1.000 active users. And the number is growing continuously.

With the open innovation platform “Living Lab” evolaris integrates end users in the innovation- and development process of digital applications. Thus, customer requirements are considered more effectively and an optimum customer experience can be ensured. The evolaris Living Lab is a member of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) and with currently more than 1000 active users, it is one of Europe’s most successful Living Labs.

The platform invites people, who show interest to shape the future digital world, to share their ideas about innovative technologies and services. Linked to the advent of new technologies, application ideas for e.g. Apple Watch and Google Glass, were collected and further analysed by the Customer Insights experts of evolaris. Hence, these ideas were transformed into applicable use cases.

“Not only regarding the application scenarios of new technologies, but also in relation to digital services, which we develop for our clients, the ideas of our Living Lab community play an essential role. By including the community we are able to ensure that the services will be accepted by the end user”, Daniela Glatz, Head of Customer Insights. For example, ideas to promote the stationary sale of lottery tickets or approaches for future digital bank branches, have been generated via the Living Lab community.

Apart from the opportunity to take personally part in the development process of digital innovations, many attractive prices are raffled within the Living Lab challenges.

It’s very simple to become a member of the evolaris Living Lab. Beside a certain affinity in handling mobile technologies and services, there is no special participation requirements set. Just follow the link livinglab.evolaris.net and get started.
